In darkness, we find out who we really are, and who we are meant to be. When we fall, we discover our true strength and purpose, and if it’s enough for us to rise again. At our worst, we seek guidance for our mistakes. At our best, hubris blinds us willingly with its loud deception. Yet as we come face to face with the unimaginable, it is silence that can deafen the heart and soul.
‘A World Gone Quiet’ is a means to alleviate the silence that many have come to face. Produced by Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland (August Burns Red, Polaris, Erra, Galactic Empire), this brand new album features the most personal material IMS has ever presented. As the world around us is shrouded in grief and loss, we must shine light upon the dark thoughts that are birthed within a single vulnerable moment.
Within these 13 tracks lies the story of a man who loses everything he’s ever loved, and bends the very fabric of time and nature in an attempt to save the ones he once held dear. The narrative that lies ahead carves a path through the many emotions we as humans face, while revealing the raw truth that we often forget when faced with unthinkable turmoil; the truth that we are never alone, even in our darkest hour.
On September 25th, our story will finally be revealed. Join us and dive into worlds unknown as we embark on a brand new journey into the next era of IMS.
